Andy Hooper has over 18 years experience photographing major sporting ervents in England and around the world. Andy has won Sports Photographer of the Year four times along with Photographer of the year, Royal Photographer of the Year, The David Worth memorial trophy amongst many others.
Sports Photography Masterclass
Andy regularly gives photography masterclasses for small groups where you can learn about some of the skills required to capture truely great sports photographs and hear some of the tricks of the trade! Andy is one of the few photographers to have covered the last four Olympic Games in Beijing, Sydney and Athens. He has also covered Football World Cups, Rugby World Cups, Wimbledon tennis championships, Cheltenham Gold Cup and the Grand National, the London Marathon, Open Golf Championships and the World Athletic Championships and attends all major Champions League and premiership games.
Throughout his career Andy has photographed every top sports star in every sport including Chris Hoy, David Beckham, Jonny Wilkinson, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Jamie Redknapp, Tom Daley, Steven Gerrard, Ben Ainsley, Chris Ashton, Jessica Ennis and Victoria Pendleton.
This year Andy published his first book titled Capture the Moment, it is the Official 2012 Olympic book on how to photograph the London Olympics, Paralympics and Torch Relay.
